Hi, I’m Eleanor, the girl behind this site, and a freelance videographer and photographer based in the South West. And no, I don’t always match my shirt to my bed sheets…
I love to travel, am rarely seen without my camera and have been professionally making films and taking photographs for charities, businesses and individuals since 2014.
I did however, pick up a camera long before that, when I started making little films of my life in 2010. I fell in love with the art of capturing moments on film, and decided I had to do all I could to make it my everyday.
I completed a three year degree at Plymouth University in Media Arts, and graduated with a first class honours. I learnt everything from animation to filmmaking, photography and sound design. I got to travel around the South west of England making films and then spent almost a year in the states studying and making more films in Montana.
My work is my passion and I love what I do, and feel so grateful to have the opportunity to work in this industry.
Companies and organisations I have worked with include the Science Museum, Waterlution, Plymouth University, Maggie Semple, Jackie Gale Textile Art, Michael Sobell Hospice, MASH steakhouse, Claremont Group Interiors and Plymouth Art Weekender.
Aside from filmmaking, I love the outdoors, and can often be found wandering the beaches of south devon or walking amongst the trees. Other loves include befriending every cat I meet, eating copious amounts of chocolate and cooking up veggie feasts. Oh, and endlessly scrolling through Instagram, oooops!
I am hoping you will stick around as I blog about films, photography and life in the south west.
